The speakers for this forum discussed how our state and others are taking the initiative to tackle the difficult problems ailing our inequitable and ailing health care system.
Speakers:
Rebekah Gee, MD, MPH, a Robert Woods Johnson Clinical Scholar at the University of Pennsylvania with academic and political credentials in health policy and management. Dr. Gee has worked on the Massachusetts Health Care Reform Plan and is a practicing obstetrician/gynecologist.
Giridhar Mallya, MD, a Robert Woods Johnson Clinical Scholar in Health Policy Research at the University of Pennsylvania. Trained as a family physician, Dr. Mallya’s research focuses on how health insurance reform affects the delivery of primary care and how best to organize community health centers in large cities.
